Description

What's Included
  • Micron Vacuum Gauge - SVG3
  • Tee Fitting
  • Operator's manual
Overview

The SVG3 Digitial Micron Vacuum Gauge is a compact, rugged gauge that is loaded with features HVACR professionals need to help them do more. It includes a large, dual display with a rate indicator, alarms, timer, rugged rubberized case, and a hook at strap that allows the vacuum gauge to be hung at any angle.

The SVG3 contains features to make evacuations easier and faster. The display has a bright backlight for high visibility in any situation. To minimize leaks the SVG3 has a Schrader depressor that can connect directly to your core removal tool, or directly to the service port. Fewer connections reduce the potential for leaks unrelated to the system. The rate indicator helps determine if there are any leaks within the system.

When the vacuum reaches the low alarm set point, an audible alarm triggers, the backlight flashes, and the integrated stopwatch restarts to show the technician how long the system has maintained a deep vacuum. You can set both high and low alarms. And the timer can display how long it took to get to the alarm and how long the vacuum has been maintained.

Features and Benefits
  • Rate Calculator - View how fast system pressure is rising or falling
  • Schrader Depressor - Minimizes leaks by reducing connections
  • 1 Micron Resolution
  • 0 - 9999 Micron Range
  • Alarms and Stopwatch - Be alerted when system drops to desired level, and know how long it took

Great product

I use this product for HVAC testing and it has proven to be one of the better gauges we have. This one is repeatable and passes calibration each time. Other micron gauges do not meet the accuracy they specify, whereas Fieldpiece does. Because of this I have purchased 6 of these gauges and it has become the preferred gauge for evacuation use.

I would buy this product again

It's used to get a reading on the line set when it's in vacuum.

The meter doesn't hold a vacuum

This is a bad product. One or two bad reviews is understandable, but the internet is littered with bad reviews of this product. Because I'm an idiot I bought it anyway. Sure enough it doesn't hold. I will not trust the Fieldpeice brand again. Spend a little more and get a better product, your time is worth it.

I will not buy this product again.

Supply-House sent the product quickly and It arrived as promised. The meter would not hold a vacuum. It leaks internally. Returned product and received quick refund. Supply- house was great to do business with. The product was bad.

You should contact Fieldpiece, they can verify that the gauge is working correctly, if not we can issue a replacement.
