Easy to Replace
I have 5 toilets in my house which use this system. The system doesn't last forever, but I've been getting 10-12 years out of them. When they start to fail I simply replace the system and return the toilet to proper function. Replacing the system doesn't require removing the toilet, and takes about 15 minutes using basic hand tools. I find this preferable to having to replace an entire cheap toilet ever 10-12 years, or wasting time trying to diagnose an issue with a toilet and replacing parts piecemeal. This way I have a high quality Kohler toilet that will last indefinitely, because I can simply replace the guts with an OEM replacement when they start to fail. I also find this system flushes better than any other 1.0 gpf toilet I've ever encountered. I am a contractor by trade and remodel a lot of bathrooms, so I have considerable experience with most brand and styles of toilet.
