Hi Dilly, It is quite easy to plumb a pressure switch to your water well pump system. I think the best way is to connect it high up on the pressure tank where it will always be above the fluctuating water line. This way the switch will not be in water and not subject to freezing. Hopefully you can find (or make) a threaded pipe connection in such a location on your tank and simply plumb the pressure switch to the tank. I then would use a flexible electrical conduit to carry the wires to the control panel. Alternatively you can plumb the switch to the piping located on the pressure tank side of your well pump check valve. Regardless of where you connect the pressure switch it should be located to monitor the system pressure present in your pressure tank. Be careful to avoid placing the switch in a location that could isolate the switch from the pressure tank by any valve. If in danger of freezing, insulate the switch and connecting plumbing. I hope that this helps. Alan.
