I would not buy this product again
It seems no matter what you do, it needs replaced about every two years. The way the installation was done when house was purchased; I now can see why this generalaire whole house humidifier was discontinued. Every time you take off cover to clean or change filter, your taking the change of bending the copper wire attached to the solenoid valve and damaging it.

I would not buy this product again
It seems no matter what you do, it needs replaced about every two years. The way the installation was done when house was purchased; I now can see why this generalaire whole house humidifier was discontinued. Every time you take off cover to clean or change filter, your taking the change of bending the copper wire attached to the solenoid valve and damaging it.
