Exaxt OEM Replacement for my Amana, Saved the cold blast
My hvac stopped sending 24v power to the thermostat. The technician checked and told me that the transformer and control board is bad and will charge upwards of thousand to change them. He recommended that I should change the entire system since it's very old.
I am very good at DYI and checked some YouTube videos how to replace control board and felt good about a mini DYI project to do myself and save the thousand bucks!!
Ordered the control board and transformer from supply house and installed it. It was the exact OEM replacement and now my hvac is back and running well.

This will be my go to store!
My unit went out and every service person said they could not get the part and to purchase a new complete system. When I said I would only buy Amana they did not like it. I found the part replaced it myself and my 17year old unit is fine. I added a fan under the house to improve the airflow.
