Goodman Manufacturing is a manufacturer of residential heating, cooling, and air handling equipment, founded in 1975 by Harold V. Goodman in Houston, Texas. Goodman entered HVAC equipment manufacturing in 1982 (Janitrol acquisition) and added gas heating in 1986. Daikin Industries acquired Goodman in August 2012. The sq ft Waller, Texas manufacturing campus was completed in 2017. Goodman is the value leader in the US residential HVAC market.
