If the stator is not destroyed, (UP-26-116F Pump) this replacement cartridge will do the trick. I had both pumps go out on my loop, one I had to replace as the stator was destroyed, the other I was able to repair with this cartridge. Make sure the housing/stator assembly is not damaged.

Saved a lot of money
As a do it your selfer, I saved $300 for 3 pumps that went bad. I isolated the pumps from the system (plumbing & electrical), disassembled (4 corner allen/hex screws) the old ones to verify that the shell electical windings looked good & dry (not rusty from liquid). I figured that if I wrecked the old pump getting the replacable cores out, I wasn't loosing any thing as they didn't work any more anyway. I removed the motor end screw cap & pounded out the core from the back of the motor with a round flat punch chizel on an open table vice. Snug core came out, motor windings looked good inside, some broun hot spots on windingd on one pump, but not black in color so I then ordered these replacement cores, cleaned the sealing serfaces, when the pumps arrived, inserted the new core kits as much as I could by hand & finished the last little bit of new core insertion by adding the new gasket (barried in the shipping box of styrafoam peanuts, don't acedently throw it away) & mounting on the pump body, in small even incraments, tightened the 4 corner monting screws. I flushed out the air with garden hose adaptors (found at McMaster-Carr)on our geothermal heat pump feild & then since the air was perged out, I un-isolated the valves to the pumps. Been 1 month now, works great for me. Now I plan on replacing these pump cores every 5 years or so, as this seems to be the life of the bearings since they are used a lot on out heatpump (heating & cooling) our home. Thanks for these rebuild kits that saved me from taking out a loan & from calling out a pricy contactor ! ! ! Hope this helps some one.

Very User friendly!
I use this pump for my home heating and cooling...the job was really easy and took minimal time...the only thing I have a gripe with is that the j-box could be a little larger. Thanks! Happy Easter!
