Replaced an old taco pump and it works great

We use this low head, high flow circulator as the primary pump in our church building's 4-boiler, 10-zone heating system. It's very quiet, and I know from experience that these Grundfos pumps are well-designed and last a long time. The pump flange design partially captures the gasket, which allows the piping to expand, contract, and flex without any leaks from the gasket. With the little keychain rotation detector available from Grundfos, we can tell easily whether the rotor is spinning -- not possible with the green pumps. This is the fourth pump we've used for this application. Our experience with the green ones has been increasingly poor. The first one lasted about 10 years. When we had to replace it, the model had been discontinued so we installed the manufacturer's recommended substitute. That lasted two years. Once again we found it's model had been discontinued, so again we installed the manufacturer's recommended substitute. That one made so much noise that we ordered the Grundfos substitute after a week.
