Revived my 19 year old Tempstar workhorse - WARMTH!!!!
Original burner corroded and rusted to the point where flames were shooting out from unwanted places. This was frequently tripping my rollout switch. Not good due to danger and the furnace blower just running constantly (cold) as the thermostat could never be satisfied to shutoff the (no heat) furnace. Liberally sprayed the mounting hardware and attachment points with WD40 and replaced old with new. Aligned and bolted up perfectly. Took the opportunity to clean and vacuum the burner area, and inspect anything else I could shine a light on. WOW! Problem solved 100%, and blue flames shooting only where they should. We are warm again.
