The 2" IPS pipe did not function as it should have
I work for a small organization that does all its own natural gas work. We use socket fusion to join our plastic pipe. I have bought smaller pipe from Home-flex before and have had no issues, but this 2" pipe was different. The plastic would not flow properly to make a solid joint on the coupler. This pipe does not work with socket fusion.
On the bright side. When using a compression coupler the pipe worked just fine. I personally prefer fusion, so I avoid compression couplers, but if you are planning to use compression couplers this pipe would probably work just fine.
