New Plastic Compound Plastic Lid is Great!
Already had the new tank made with the new compound (darker plastic) that holds up much better, and now I have the new lid too. Fit perfectly and hopefully, the latch will last long too before heat-cycling and cracking due to fatigue. Its already installed and working like a champ!

Another TrueSteam inexcusable repair.
The TrueSteam cover is plastic and eventually sort of fails. In this case the latch broke off. I guess I can live without the latch but decided to replace it. To be clear, this is a review of TrueSteam. Supply House continues to be my go to place for these products. Price, speed, web site accuracy - they have it all.
