I wired this 120 volt zone falve to my taco 007 for i had a ghost overheating issue with a swet check valve not stopping all the flow. This product closes hard when there is no call for heat. Did exactly what i wanted. Love it

Source of spare parts!
I bought this entire unit to have a spare available should the existing one on my solar hot water system fail. The original, the same model, was installed in 2010 and is working fine, but I suspect that with the operating temperatures (140F or more) some part will fail soon so now I have a complete kit of spares to cannibalize as required, or just to replace the whole thing. Dealing with Supply House was easy, price competitive, and delivery timely.

I needed this particular voltage valve so I could tie into the taco circulator relay panel and not have to add more. This valve also solved my ghost water circ issue.

Q: i am having a problem with my fhw boiler thermosyphoning when i have a external heat exchanger from a outdoor woodboiler on line. i want to put in a honeywell zone valve 120v, the close off psi is 8, my boiler runs at 12psi. will i have a problem with it closing or is this not a problem because there is no difference in pressure on either side of the valve

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffAccording to the manufacturer, as long as the system pressure where the zone valve is connected is no greater than 8 PSI, it will be fine.
