Outstanding Value and Service for over 5 years
This model damper has a much lower failure rate than the Honeywell damper model it replaces. When one of the dampers has failed during warranty, SupplyHouse sent a replacement very quickly.
I've bought numerous things from SupplyHouse over the years and they have always been excellent to deal with.

Flawless & Simple Exchange
After two HVAC companies failed to identify the reasons for one zone's failure out of our 8 zone installation, and intermittent disruptions to HVAC service, I chose to investigate on my own. It didn't take long to identify a failed damper motor connector (no DC power when activated) and an intermittent failed DC input power supply connector (minimal jiggling of the input wires caused the board's LEDS to flash on or off) on the original TAZ-4. After powering down the unit's circuit breaker, the new TAZ-4 replacement was quick and simple - perhaps 45 minutes total. It's been 30 days now and all is well. I'm having an electrician install a whole house surge protector, believing recent electrical storms may have been the cause for the original board failure.

Q: I am looking for a TZ-3 model. Has it been replaced by this one? Also, can the TZ-4 be used in its place?
