NOT a direct replacement for ICM492 as the website says
The ICM492 has a 10A relay for controlling power. The recommended replacement ICM492D only has a 1A relay for controlling power. You will need an external relay/contactor to make the replacement work if your load is over 1A. (IE: won't control a furnace line connection without a relay) It might work by only interrupting the transformer supply, but then your controller board would potentially received voltage from the Blower motor connection and you will be buying a new controller board too. (I need more details about my furnace to determine possible back feed issues...)
The ICM492-LF is a 'lead free' version of the control, however, its 'signal control' voltage range only goes down to 24V (according to an AI (almost intelligent) search), but pics say the range goes down to 18 like the original ICM492. Just something to be aware of if you are using these contacts (bottom right of control). The -LF version doesn't appear on ICM's website and is out of stock.
I'm waiting for details from ICM on the actual specs instead of trusting the AI interpretation (which appears incorrect).
