Reversing Relay 1:1 Ratio

The R-3030 Reversing Relay is a pneumatic auxiliary device which functions as an inverter, volume amplifier, and inverse sequencer. It is used primarily to change the output of a controller from direct to reverse acting or vice versa (see Figs. 2 and 6). With an amplified output flow, the R-3030 also achieves high speed of response and furnishes extra flow capacity to operate additional controlled devices.

The R-3030 can also be applied to sequencing applications on dual duct VAV installations (see Figs. 3 and 7), or to convert Constant Air Volume (CAV) installations to VAV installations using D-1500 Series Retrofit Dampers. In this application, the R-3030 automatically changes from direct to reverse when the input pressure signal increases above the factory set field adjustable input/output point.
