Does not fit rigid copper
I purchased the 3/4" flare nut, a 3/4" hammer flare tool and a 2lb brass hammer as recommended for use with the flare tool. Turns out that the ID of the 3/4" rigid copper tubing that I intended to use appeared to be the same ID as the flare nut and therefor did not fit. This is not Supply House's fault, but it should be known.

Works, But Too Snug
I recently installed a 3/4" propane line and used these flare nuts. It was quite a fight to get them on to the 3/4" soft copper tubing prior to flaring. I certainly wouldn't want to be a professional installer trying to wrestle these flare nuts onto copper tubing all day long! If they made the opening a few mils larger, it would be a big help.

Use the flair nut pictured. Refrigeration copper tubing is 3/8" OD and the common copper tubing used for plumbing is measured ID or 1/4". The fitting is the same. Sent from my iPad Pat King President CEO Chillking Chillers Bastrop, TX 78602
