A must have work light.
I do a lot of work above finished ceilings. Nice to have a light source that I don't have to hold.

Not a good start
2 new units are already on my don't use shelf. The first died completely after about an hour of intermittent use and the 2nd one became too dim to use after 2 hours of intermittent use. Maybe they sat in a warehouse for years and the batteries were just shot so I'll add new batteries and see if that makes a difference. Maybe they're not to used in anything below normal room temps. Either way if the new batteries don't help they'll hit the landfill and I'll go back to using the cheap China stuff that at least works. Either way I won't risk a walk into or out of the woods again with no light so I'll have to add something else as a backup. Pretty disappointing for a hat light.
