unfortunately, bad quality
The casting is very rough. The ball itself had pretty large hanging cast artifacts on the inside (which would cause turbulence in corrosion) and was already showing signs of (orange) rust. Not sure what metal it's of, greenish color.
Threads for the curb box are banged up.
Worst of all it is very hard to turn. I used a long adjustable wrench to turn it while holding the valve to the floor with my hand with all my strength. I intend to use it on poly pipe. No way, it will bend the pipe and damage the connections, in all kinds of soil except poured concrete.
