High quality, but not a 'drop-in' replacement.
Replacement switch for a Liberty Pump. The pump I repaired is labelled "Pit Viper" but it appears to be a Liberty model 257. The new switch was 'almost' identical; but not a 'drop-in' replacement. The new switch had braided copper leads to crimped on sockets. Whereas the switch I removed had sockets and no braided copper leads. I had to cut-off the braided copper leads, cut-off some of the brass, fit it into position, and then solder the braid to the switch contact brass.
Bench test says it's working. But I haven't put it back into the sump pit to test it, yet. This pump is now my 'standby' pump. The replacement O-ring seal fit perfectly. I would recommend this replacement switch. Depending on your pump model you may want to modify it.
