Circuit Board Upgrade Kit: Upgrades old ControlAir 15 Board (Pre Nov 2009)
This kit is an upgrade for BASE MODULE Electronics. Compatible units can easily be identified by the appearance of the Base Module Terminal Block located on the exterior of the HRV/ERV cabinet. A Digit Main Control is included with this kit. The Digital Main Control may be wired near the HRV or to a central location of your home.

Product as stated with some caveats
I purchased this product to replace a defunct circuit board in a 25 year old Lifebreath 155 Max. Here are my thoughts:
1). Product came as advertised and arrived in a timely manner.
2). Product included all new electronics for the HRV, including a new wall control.
3). Product included a somewhat generic set of directions of how to replace the electronics. When I completed the install a still had 2 wire bundles remaining. One was for the dehumidistat which is now controlled with the new wall control unit. The second was for a damper in which I place in the damper slot in the circuit board as it corresponded to the old board and matched up as a 4 wire connector ( with 3 wires and 1 empty spot).
4). I have a 4 port system which did not work initially as configured out of the box. I tried it as a 5 port system and moved the DIP switch as instructed. This worked for the new control unit. There needs to be better trouble shooting in the installation manual when problems occur (there is none).
5). We have a point source setup with digital electronic timers in 4 locations previously. I'm unable to get them to work by piggybacking on the RYG terminals on the terminal block with the new wall control. It would be nice to have this option but mainly use the HRV for fresh air exchange.
6). When installing the circuit board there are already predrilled holes for the new circuit board which matched up. Unfortunately, I did not initially see this. In my situation, the old circuit board was more vertical rectangular and the new board is more square. Again, this would have been helpful in the instructions as I missed this and unnecessarily drill 4 new holes. the space is tight with the new circuit board so check what is available b/f you drill.
7). In the end, I got the the HRV up and running. As is often with electronics, they never go completely smoothly.
8). Be aware, Lifebreath has poor customer service. They only talk to installers. Your on your own.
