One intermediate guide rail bracket is required for every 10' of rail. The IGR-3/4 is the intermediate bracket for the 3/4" guide rail with 2" disconnect. The IGR-1-1/4 is the intermediate bracket for the 1-1/4" guide rail with 3" disconnect.
This is meant to be used with the Little Giant guide rail system. Like the upper bracket on the guide rail system, this uses a pair of 3/8"-thick steel rods that fit inside of the 3/4" pipes (procured locally). They fit very loosely. After they are installed, there is a gap of about 2" between the upper slide rail and lower slide rail. The sliding bracket somehow has to jump that gap without derailing or breaking one of the tabs of the slide bracket. I forsee that somebody will be cussing me during the installation, and again in five years when they go to pull out the pumps and can't get the slide bracket to engage the upper slide rail because it is stuck at the intermediate bracket. This has nothing to do with SupplyHouse, but the manufacturer's design. However, this was about a month delayed, which made me look ba to my customer. The next time I have a Little Giant pump that needs a slide rail system, I will get a Conery system.
