So far so good
I got the 3/4 HP Little Giant to replace a 1 HP version which lasted only about 3 years. As a pond pump the 1 HP was a bit overpowered, so flow was restricted on the downstream side with a gate vale which might have contributed to the early death of that former version. With the new 3/4 HP, that valve is now wide open and the flow is totally adequate, and the pump is nice and quiet. Time will tell how long it will last.

it is a terrible pump, runs great for a little while, then pump loses power and slows down. I have to unplug the pump, let it sit for a while and then plug it in and it works for a short while and you have to do it all again. terrible pump! never buy from these people again.

One more time - another pump
Another pump, like clock work every two to three years - my pond pump runs 24 - 7 - 365 and they get a hard work out, so every couple of years they just die or they run so hot they keep shutting down or keep kicking the circuit breaker.
I do like this model of pump though it has to deal with all of Ohio's weather conditions

Pump worked well
Waterfall pump; did a good job; quiet with good flow. One problem - failed after one and one half year continuous use. Supply House - excellent customer service in replacing pump under two year warranty feature. Other pumps for this waterfall lasted longer 3-5 years, however, they were nearly twice the cost. Hope replacement pump lasts more than two years.

Waterfall pump
The little giant sump pump that was the recommended replacement for my original little giant died after 3 days..... so far this one is going strong.....3 weeks. Bottom line....supply house customer service handling the return and shipping the new pump was excellent!!
