I ordered 2 of these and 1 was defective with the face coming unglued on it. Mini-split was very responsive in sending a replacement for it. The replacement had the same problem so another one is now on the way.
I requested that they verify the new one is good before shipping it.

I would not purchase again
It's not Wifi.
You have to be in front of the unit to make it function.
I can do that with the remote that came with the unit.
It goes through a battery life every 30-45 days.
Only good function ... a nice display

I would not recomend purchasing
The product has a nice display but it uses two batteries a month and doesnt really do much because it's not wifi smart .... infrared only and the unit has to be within eye site of the main unit. If you have a remote (all units have) ...that's really all you ever need or use.

Great prodict
I will purchase from the supply house again as well as this product. If I had one thing to say about this wifi thermostat I wish it had a back light so you can see in the dark what the room temp is without touching a button.

Avoid this thermostat
I bought this thinking it was the WiFi unit but it is the standard IR, line-of-sight model.
The push buttons do not respond, the Mobile App cannot connect to it without being near via Bluetooth which makes this thermostat useless for 4th Gen Mini Splits because the hand-held remote, though it has its issues, can be set to Follow-Me mode and be a wall remote.

I wouldn't buy this product again!
It's Bluetooth only,so you can only change when next to it.And have to jump through a bunch of Bluetooth hoops to do so.
I purchased to simplify usage from remote for guests,but won't get more in future,either buy WiFi one or just stick with what MRCOOL gives with system.
