These rubber seat poppet type regulators are designed primarily for main burner and pilot load applications where precise control of tiny flows is an essential operating requirement.
Housings are of high strength aluminum die castings. All models, with the exception of D suffix models, have been tested for multi-poise mounting and may be installed in any plane or angle without restriction. They may be used with natural, manufactured, mixed, LP, or LP gas-air mixture.

Worked great!

I would probably need this product once in 30 years!

GREAT FIND AND PRICE
OUR TECH HAD FOUND THE ORIGINAL REG. HAD FAILD / QUIT WORKING AND THE ORIG.IS NLA/DISCONTINUED AND WE FOUND THIS,TECH HAD TO GET A COUPLE OF ADAPTERS ,BUT HAS BEEN INSTALL AND WORKING WELL AT THIS POINT IN TIME THANKS .

Verified Reply- SupplyHouseHi Andrew! The lower ambient temperature rating of the RV47CL is 32 degrees. So it is not generally recommended for outdoor use.

Q: I have a Jenn Air CVG 4380 B Propane cooktop with a Maxitrol RV 47CL regulator installed in it. I want to use the cook top as a patio cooker, hooked to a propane bottle. Do I plumb the bottle directly into your regulator or add a grill regulator at the bottle and then hook the gas line into your regulator?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffAccording to the manufacturer, the RV47CL is only rated up to 1/2 psi inlet pressure. Propane tanks are rated anywhere between 60 and 120 psi. It would require a tank regulator that brings the supply pressure down to 1/2 psi or less before connecting to the RV47CL.
