Hi Andrew! The lower ambient temperature rating of the RV47CL is 32 degrees. So it is not generally recommended for outdoor use.
We are unable to reference that model number. If you are referring to RV47NCL-33, it has been discontinued without a replacement.
According to the manufacturer, the RV47CL is only rated up to 1/2 psi inlet pressure. Propane tanks are rated anywhere between 60 and 120 psi. It would require a tank regulator that brings the supply pressure down to 1/2 psi or less before connecting to the RV47CL.
