Easiest PEX i have worked with

Mr. Pex brand is easier to work with than NIBCO brand which I purchased from a local plumbing supply both are oxygen barrier. The Mr. pex bends and uncoils much easier. The Price of 1000 feet was less than 300 feet at the local plumbing supply, which is located less than 5 miles from supply houses warehouse. Local Pick up is great!

High Temp Hydronic

Found this tubing totally unsuitable for higher temp hydronic service. Tubing expands and distorts at an incredible rate way more than Uponor HeatPex. Had the opportunity to see this in a side by side comparison with lines run overhead in ceiling joists. Was forced to remove tubing and switch over to HeatPex after customer demanded it. While the tubing may not leak, it becomes incredibly soft to the point of being rubbery which is quite disconcerting. From now on, sticking with Uponor HeatPex for higher temp hydronic service. (180*) 15 years experience with it and should have stayed with it from the beginning. Lesson learned.

I would buy this product again.

Mr Pex is the best tubing on the market, it's a little too pricy but the flexibility of the product make it a joy to work with during installation .

Good stuff, more flexible.

More flexible and easier to work with than other brands I have used in the past. Definitely a plus for the installation process.

Good buy

Purchased 1 roll to inspect quality and feel. I then ordered 4 more rolls. After you get it uncoiled it layed down pretty good, easy to work with, and really liked that the length was marked every 3 feet.

Will buy again.

Uncoiled very well. Ran 300 feet so far and only one kink but that was my fault. I haven't pressurized it yet but running it was very easy.

Q: Can I use silicone to seal the gap between pex and floor? Will it harm the pipe ?

Use only water-soluble gypsum-based caulk around PEX when sealing openings. Petroleum based caulks and sealants will deteriorate the plastic. This will cause leakage in the water supply line.
