The NIBCO bronze gate valve features a screw-in bonnet for service where infrequent maintenance is required. The threaded ends allow for ease of installation. The gate valve is constructed of high quality lead-free dezincification-resistant (DZR) performance bronze silicon alloy per ASTM specifications. Rising stem gate valves are used when positive shutoff is required and a quick visual indicator of open/closed position is needed.
