50/7.5 MFD Round Run Dual Capacitor (370V), 01-0273

Our Nordyne 3 ton AC stopped cooling our home. While I was checking circuit breakers, I could hear the unit's fan buzzing. Capacitor was rusted and bulged, and ran long enough like that, the fan motor burned up too. Parts here were easy to locate, prices were better than all other vendors in the region. They have multiple warehouses, and were able to get the order in my hands 24 hours after I ordered them! Capacitor is same or better quality compared with original part. The top connectors on the original part have color-coded rings, but it was easy to match up to this replacement. That portion of the repair took 10 minutes at most. We were in the middle of a 100F heatwave, so SupplyHouse really came through in a tough situation. I contacted customer service to ask about shipping, reached an agent in less than 2 minutes, and received friendly help! I highly recommend this store and their parts, and look forward to doing business again!

Fan was not starting on AC Unit. Was shutting down with motor overheating I assume. During next initial turn on I used a long screwdriver to spin the fan and the motor began rotating the fan. AC was working fine. Nfigured I needed the start capacitor. Unit shut down 10 mins later. Opened side panel and found that 10 years worth of unit vibration had resulted in the motor start wire being frayed away on a sharp corner. Could Probably have made a quick splice but was in a difficult repair area. Decided to replace motor and capacitor due to age and rust. Supply House had lowest cost, parts in inventory and quick delivery with no damage to parts. 3 hours after receiving parts, AC runs like new.
