Should have changed this first...
Nordyne furnace was having ignition sequence failures. I checked the pressure switch the poor man's way - a gentle draw from my mouth - and I had continuity. I went down the firing order of other possible causes, changing parts out along the way (flame sensor, igniter, gas valve, mother board) still failing! I went back and replaced this part and the silicone hose (very important - this part didn't come with one), she's been firing up ever since. Expensive lesson, - .55 WC pressure is hard to measure with just your lungs and milivolts make all the difference to mother boards!
