Exact replacement part for Nordyne furnace
This solved a very difficult to diagnose intermittent gas valve problem. Once every 10 or 15 cycles the gas valve would open/close repeatedly until it either stayed open or shut down to try again. Most times it would run normally the second time. Never experienced a lockout. Threw quite a few parts at the problem (including a new valve installed by my service tech) but the problem remained. Turned out to be this pressure switch (there are two in my furnace). Furnace is only 6 years old but I guess pressure switches can wear out. Will keep an extra on hand from now on.
