I like the soft water it generates.
There are no instructions of how or where to dispose of an old cartridge. My son, who changed it for me, left it on my garage floor next to my large trashcan as I wanted to look at it before tossing it in the garbage. The next day I saw some gooey white stuff around the canister, and the next day there was even more. I then tossed the cannister into the garbage bin and removed the white stuff off my garage floor. It had etched my garage floor leaving a big white stain and lots of little holes in the cement. What to do?
