What You See Is What You Get, And That Might Not Cover It
The principle of this product is an excellent one: Namely, it is to replace the way over-priced and unreliable McDonnell & Miller LWCO blow-down valve.
And this particular version is fine as far as it goes, but if you don't have the proper gasket on hand once you get this part in hand, you may find yourself scrambling to get one, to say nothing of maybe needing extra bolts to install.
Don't forget to have a 3/4" full port threaded ball valve and a selection of 3/4 nipples and fittings.

It went on the furnace just fine
I put it on the furnace with no problem. The heating season has not started yet, so I don't know how it will function in service, but I do not expect any problems.
