Solution: A spill control plan should be developed with absorbent products readily available to control daily leaks and spills around your plant or to use in case of an emergency.

Oil-Dri premium clay absorbents undergo a superior moisture extraction process that increases absorption power and minimizes dust. Clay granules are used to absorb oils, mixtures of soluble oils, acids, paints, inks, water and other liquids. Proper use of these products can reduce slipping accidents and hazards, prevent flash oil fires and keep floors clean and dry. Do not use with turpentine, vegetable oil, unsaturated organic compounds or hydrofluoric acid.

Disposal: Oil-Dri products must be disposed of in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Since various fluids absorbed may be of toxic or hazardous in nature, Oil-Dri does not recommend disposal procedures.
