WhisperCeiling fans feature a totally enclosed condenser motor and a double-tapered, dolphin shaped bladed blower wheel to quietly move air. Since .1" w.g. is an unrealistic amount of static pressure when installed, our fans have been rated at .25" w.g., the industry standard for performance measurement for ASHRAE, ENERGY STAR®, LEED for Homes, and HVI. Panasonic leads the way with incomparable sone levels at both .1" and .25" w.g.
Continuous, Trouble-free Operation for Many Years
This fan is designed to give you continuous, trouble-free operation for many years thanks in part to its high-quality components and permanently lubricated motors which wear at a slower pace. Also, since heat is always detrimental to motor life (the cooler the environment, the longer the motor will last), we designed the electrical configuration of this model's condenser motor to allow it to operate at lower temperatures, increasing the life of the motor and bearings. And, the fan housing is made of heavy-gauge zinc galvanized steel and painted to protect it from rust.
User-Friendly Installation
Detachable adaptors, firmly secured duct ends, adjustable mounting brackets (up to 26"), fan/motor units that detach easily from the housing and uncomplicated wiring all lend themselves to user-friendly installation. This model also features a double-hanger bar system for ideal positioning.

Tired of Cold Air Coming Through Your Ventilation Fan?
This Panasonic fan has a built-in damper to prevent backdraft, which helps to prevent outside air from coming through the fan. Loose fill or batt insulation can be placed directly over the fan housing to prevent heat from escaping.

Great fan, quiet and reliable

Wisper ceiling fan 110 cfm
After wiring iT up then turnine it on had to go up to it to see for myself if it was running. Very in pressed by it . Also Supply House and getting to my place was wonderful. Thank you all.

Best all-around fan on the market!
We've installed literally hundreds of these on projects, and the clients love them. We have never had to service one (never!). They're incredibly quiet and seem pretty much indestructible.

Nice fan, very low noise.
Fairly easy install given it was bigger than the Broan fan I was replacing. It is far quieter than the Broan also. I can't say it moves much more air, but that may be due to it running into a 3 inch duct hose. I plan on replacing the soffit vent with a larger opening, and that will probably increase the air movement.

Good unit, but installation wasn't as easy as I hoped for
I had to install this unit from the bathroom and I was hoping the support brace could be installed to the rafters first and then slide the blower in place and then attach to the support brace. It wasn't designed this way, so I had to cut an additional hole (approximately 4x12") to screw the brace into the rafter after the blower was in position. Repairing the plaster about doubled the installation time.

I replaced an original builder installed exhaust fan in my master bathroom that was annoyingly loud. The Panasonic exhaust fan at >.3 sones is so quiet I forget it's on. Love the product.

From what I see, the height of the unit is a little under 11". So either you need a 2x12 ceiling joist or clearance above the bottom of whatever joist size you have.

I have two version. I install low profile version in 1st floor bathroom and standard profile in top floor bathroom. If there is a concern, I recommend low profile fan instead. Thanks Elijah

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffIt is recommended that for bathrooms of less than 50sq feet, a fan of 50 CFM is sufficient. For bathrooms between 50 and 100 sq ft. use 1 CFM per sq ft of floor space. For bathrooms over 100 sq ft add the CFM requirement for the following fixtures: (50 CFM for each toilet, shower, bathtub or hot tub)
