Quiet Operation at .25" Water Gauge
WhisperCeiling fans feature a totally enclosed condenser motor and a double-tapered, dolphin shaped bladed blower wheel to quietly move air. Since .1" w.g. is an unrealistic amount of static pressure when installed, our fans have been rated at .25" w.g., the industry standard for performance measurement for ASHRAE, ENERGY STAR®, LEED for Homes, and HVI. Panasonic leads the way with incomparable sone levels at both .1" and .25" w.g.

Continuous, Trouble-free Operation for Many Years
This fan is designed to give you continuous, trouble-free operation for many years thanks in part to its high-quality components and permanently lubricated motors which wear at a slower pace. Also, since heat is always detrimental to motor life (the cooler the environment, the longer the motor will last), we designed the electrical configuration of this model's condenser motor to allow it to operate at lower temperatures, increasing the life of the motor and bearings. And, the fan housing is made of heavy-gauge zinc galvanized steel and painted to protect it from rust.

User-Friendly Installation
Detachable adaptors, firmly secured duct ends, adjustable mounting brackets (up to 26"), fan/motor units that detach easily from the housing and uncomplicated wiring all lend themselves to user-friendly installation. This model also features a double-hanger bar system for ideal positioning.

Energy Star® Qualified for Energy Savings
Energy Star qualified products feature super-quiet operation and high CFM-to-Watt efficiency. The Energy Star program was created to help consumers identify products that can save them money and protect the environment by saving energy.

Tired of Cold Air Coming Through Your Ventilation Fan?
This Panasonic fan has a built-in damper to prevent backdraft, which helps to prevent outside air from coming through the fan. Loose fill or batt insulation can be placed directly over the fan housing to prevent heat from escaping.

This fan is so quiet, you can hardly hear it running!

Easy to install in new construction. A bit more difficult to install in existing ceiling. Extremely quiet and works very well.

Super quiet

The only problem with this fan is that it is so quiet you might well forget it's on. I installed with an auto time out switch for this reason.

Quiet fan

It's quiet. Not that you don't hear it, but it is a gentle spin. Efficient and doesn't seem to be drafty when turned on. A relief compare to the builder's grade fan. Also worth a mention is SupplyHouse.com's quick delivery.

The quietest, most powerful fan yet

We remodeled our master bathroom and doubled its size, so we wanted a quiet, powerful exhaust fan. Our contractor had to move the fan location from where the original fan was because this one needed more ceiling space, but it was well worth it. Our new bathroom is 120 sq.ft. with a walk-in shower and double-sink vanity. The fan is located between the shower and vanity area. The mirrors have never fogged up after someone has showered, and the fan is so quiet we can easily forget to turn it off. We live in Central Florida, so it can already be humid before the shower is even turned on. I would highly recommend this exhaust fan, especially for a larger bathroom. We bought a smaller exhaust fan for our remodeled half-bath and it is much louder than this one (which is probably fine as it masks any noises that might come from this hall bath).

Great Product

I had a problem with moisture after taking a shower in our small bathroom 7 by 9 feet. I decided to go with a larger fan( 150 cfm )to make sure I would be moving enough air. Most manufacturers recommended from 75 to 100 cfm. I could not be more pleased with the operation, noise level and best of all no more fogged up mirrors! I installed a timer with preset settings of 5,10,15,30 and 60 minutes so now b/4 taking a shower I just hit the 30 minute setting and all left over moisture is removed thru this fans larger 6 inch vent pipe. Hope this help you decide what fan to purchase. I give it a A plus.

Boy is it quiet

The thing that struck me after I installed this fan is that I didn't hear it. At first I didn't think it turned on. It is that quiet: remarkable for such a powerful fan. But, be forewarned that installation into an existing ceiling takes your own ideas/planning. The install instructions don't cover this. I decided to install wood supports between the joists instead of using the included metal supports because there was some play between them and the channel they go in, which I thought might cause vibration noise. I cut a 36" by 14 1/2" section out of the popcorn ceiling between the ceiling joists to allow me to have good access. Turned out to be a good idea for both installing the wood support strips and connecting the fan to the vent pipe. The fan's bottom flange is about 1", and I screwed it to the wood supports. After installing the fan I cut two pieces of plywood about 5" wide by 14" long, overlapped both ends of the opening with them, and screwed them to the existing ceiling, and then to the removed piece.
