Add oil or other liquid additives into a vapor-compression refrigeration or air conditioning system quickly and without interrupting operation of the system. QwikInjector® uses the natural pressure difference developed by the compressor of an operating system to push any liquid additive into a system.
Anytime a liquid product specifies that it needs to be introduced into an operating system QwikInjector® can be used as the injection medium. QwikShot® Acid Flush, dyes, and oil additives are all common items that require an injection tool to use. Our injection tool is intentionally sized for very small doses so that customers won't accidently add non-condensables into a system.
Features:
- Patented displacer piston cap assures that all air is displaced from the QwikInjector as the cap is tightened
- Injection tool is intentionally sized for very small doses so that customers won't accidentally add non-condensables into a system
- Compatible with all refrigerants and oils
- Rated for 800 psig
- Tested & approved for R-410A
- Application: An injection medium used anytime a liquid product specifies that it needs to be introduced into an operating system
- Size: 0.5oz, Rated for 800 psig
Instructions:
1. Unscrew QwikInjector® top and fill with liquid additive, such as QwikShot. *Fill completely to ensure air does not get trapped in vessel.
(It is desirable to have liquid overflow over the edges. The overflow indicates that there is no excess air within the Injector.)
2. Connect to the low side of the operating system FIRST.
3. Connect to the high side of the operating system LAST.
4. Open the valve on the manifold. The high side pressure will push the liquid into the low side of the system.
