The Ranco BD Series Thermostatic Expansion Valves (TXV) are designed to meet the bidirectional requirements for heat pump systems. This TXV is used to adjust the refrigerant supply volume in the evaporator by sensing the superheat degree of the evaporator outlet through a thermal sensing bulb and external (internal) balance.
