3-1/2" x 3" PVC Reducing Adapter

he helped me find every part i needed. i did not know the names of the parts so i sent some drawing to him in an e-mail. he was very patient with my inability to explain what i needed. but in the end he set me up with all the right parts.

Using product to hook up a grease trap. Using existing pipe that was odd size and nobody had it locally. They sent it right away and it was the right part. Thanks Andy

I needed to retrofit an existing clean out to plumb in a utility sink in the basement. This is the only fitting that would work with the new 3-1/2" threaded clean outs. Not a standard size. Supply house to the rescue!

Worked very well as advertised

My 60 yr old house has 3 1/2" clean outs on the waste lines. When attempting to connect a new 3" PVC drain line to a clean out I had a problem. I needed an uncommon adapter as a "donut" would not work. No local supply house had the 3-1/2" x 3" adapter. A quick google search and Supply House to the Rescue! Thank you supply house!

Work as planned

I have a 3 1/2" PVC floor cleanout with a cap in my basement. I wanted to drain a new bar sink into this. I spent years looking at the "big box" stores for a 3 1/2" to 3" reducer fitting, was basically laughed at, told there is no such thing as 3.5" PVC pipe fittings, even when I brought in the 3.5" cap- but yet I have one. Read many on-line forums, found out the reason it's 3.5" is they don't want homeowners connecting anything to the clean-out. Luckily Supply House had exactly what I needed, the 3.5" threads fit my drain perfectly, then I was able to connect standard 3" fittings as needed, connect bar sink drain and also maintain the clean-out function. Saved me a lot of money otherwise I would have had to put a pump for 200+ dollars. The bottom fitting in the pic is what I purchased from SupplyHouse.
