It helps prevent heat transfer damage to plastic faucet parts, sensitive controls, valves, and equipment during soldering, brazing or welding. RectorShield will not dry out, crack or separate during heating. It is easy to clean up, safe to use, environmentally friendly, non-staining, and odorless.

30+ year dependability
Used mainly in HVAC trade for protecting components during brazing (oxy-acetylene). Can honestly say that I have purchased at least 100 tubes during my career and never had an overheat issue when using Thermo Trap.
