1-1/4" Gray PVC True Union Ball Valve

I bought two of these for my pool equipment replacements. The existing, PVC valves with the orange handles were getting brittle and the handles were snapping off. These gray valves weigh a hair over 2 lb each! I measured the interior dimension because to my eye, they appeared to be larger than the old valves. These True Union valves measure 1.559" where the old, white valves are only 1.375".

Ordered 2 of these valves to be used before & after a whole house water filter system... First one was cracked where you insert a male nipple...I left the 2nd one on thinking it was just a fluke occurrence..Two weeks later I get a call from the customer that the 2nd valve has cracked and is spraying water everywhere... Clearly, Red Flag Products has some quality control issues &/or their materials are subpar.. Supposed to be rated up to 150 psi...Do yourself a favor and don't buy these ever...They maybe good for a fish tank or some other low pressure application but until the issues with cracking are fixed it doesn't matter what you use them for ..They will fail..
