I had no problem with how it worked out of the box. I got it primarily for challenging locations, attics, crawl spaces etc. and it worked as expected. My problem is it didn't last but a season and the spray would not stop the next season. So I figured maybe I let it freeze and that trashed it. I ordered another one last year and it lasted a month and I had the same problem. I disassembled it and cleaned everything still no control over the foam output.
Its a nice Idea but these manufacturers don't properly test new products

Don't Bother
The sprayer makes about 1 second of foam for 20-30 pumps. After its just a dribble of liquid coming out of the sprayer, one is better off with a spray bottle or using a car detailing foam sprayer than this one.

Works ok..
It's good if you don't have a water hose near by, but is very time consuming. Doesn't produce enough foam, and you have to constantly pump it to get enough pressure to use it.

Agree with other review. . . avoid this manual foam sprayer
Avoid this sprayer since it doesn't have enough pressure to spray the foam. Either the foam barely oozes out with the consistency of shaving cream or it leaks from the pump.
