doesn't work with AM101 series
Thought this would work with AM101 (110-145F) valves. Does not, fit properly (leaks), and cannot rotate control once installed. Even uninstalled, control shaft is extremely tight (should rotate easily). Bought 2 of these to repair stuck valves in 2 AM101 valves. Waste of $. Directions are terrible. Didn't mention the center pin location, pin loose in bag, not depicted in diagram. Had old valves to reference, fortunately. Ended up using an old but functioning valve. Apparently Honeywell (or whatever it calls itself nowadays) doesn't offer correct rebuild kit for AM101 series, so have to replace the entire valve. Given how difficult it was to remove the valve assembly (scale build-up and tight quarters), it would have been faster and easier to replace the entire valve.

Simple and cost effective!
The Money; The thermostatic mixing valve is around twice as much as the repair kit.
Repurposing the valve is the green thing to do and the repair kit a slam dunk as far as simple fix can be.
Easy even for the novice I would think.
I recommend this product as of now.....we shale see how durable it is.
More on that at another time in the future.

Q: Do you sell a replacement knob, including separate internal gear, for Sparcomix AM series mixing valves? I have the 100°F - 145°F valve, but the plastic gear has stripped. Price and availability requested.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe AM100-002RP is for the Old Style AM Series Valves (manufactured before 2001) replacement parts. It is the rebuild kit for the AM Standard Series valves and will not fit the AM-1 Series.
