Integrated Furnace Control, 62-23599-05

My gas heater would not start. The controller would spark the ignition a couple times then the board would seem to die, with the red led turning off. My original board was a 62-2399-01. I replaced it with the 62-23599-05 after seeing someones post about it working for him. The connections were one for one so I removed one wire at a time and plugged it into the new board. It came right up and worked perfectly.

Unfortunately, the Part was defective out of the box

The heat side of the roof mounted 2 in 1 unit cycled, but wouldn't start. Replaced ignitor and flame sensor which did not solve. With some investigation, I found the Integrated Furnace Control (IFC) board to be faulty and purchased a new IFC from Supply House. Simple swap and problem solved. Supply House was fast with shipping and price with free shipping was excellent. Whatever appliance parts I need in the future will be purchased form these guys.

I won't bore you with the details, here's the bottom line. I ordered a part for a package unit to take care of a very important client of mine. The part showed up with obvious damage, "damage could not be detected from the outside of the package". I was worried about not coming through for the customer. I Should Not Have Woried. The {REAL PEOPLE} at SupplyHouse saved me, and my reputation. A replacement part came to me, and, ( I )saved the day. For added details, stay tuned. We all make mistakes, and supply house made one on my order. Those folks are as equally human as I am, and if you are truthful, you will admit, you to are imperfect as well. By the actions of SupplyHouse, admitting a mistake was made, and getting me the undamaged part I needed they saved the day for me. The board is version 5 but my furnace had version 4. The two were identical as far as I could tell and after installing, which was easy as long as you label the ~15 wires, works great. I would buy this again but hope that it lasts until the entire furnace needs to be replaced. Works great as of 2 months of operation.
