Perfect replacement for the Rheem tankless water heater
Issue: No hot water, flame would not light and code 11 on the panel. After a clean and flush cycle, I diagnosed the issue as a faulty gas valve. The gas valve or the igniter are the two most likely causes for code 11. The gas valve is more expensive so normally I would have tried an igniter first. However I could see a spark and I could smell gas around the gas valve.
Replacement was fairly complex and there are no videos online that I could find of anyone replacing this valve. But I'm a DIYer so I dug in and figured it out. Just mark everything as you go. The part fit perfectly and it fixed my issue.
