Doesn't fit the old (Rev A) R94s. They had a diameter of about 5/8 in, this is about 1/2 in. Wasn't held properly, and gave bad flow numbers. Replaced the whole flow meter and it works fine! Took a while to get this info from Rinnai. Not really supply house problem, but...

doesn't fit. too costly to ship it back so i'm stuck with it.

Needed to replace my current flow sensor, as the water heater on one side of my house gets little use, and caused the flow sensor to be inoperable. Watched YouTube and this website was recommended by the plumber who was teaching me what I needed to know. No complaints.

I have a water well (i.e. don't have access to city water). As a result every now and again a grain of sand can get stuck in the water turbine of my water heater. Typically I can free it up and life goes on, but every once in a blue moon it needs replacing. So I always keep a spare one on hand for just such times. It works great.

The hot water stopped working at home. Figured this item was busted. Bought two, just in case I broke one when installing it. Took two minutes to put in, hot water worked Lille magic. I was told this item breaks often in the water heater. Glad I bought both, for when it happens again. Saved tons of money not having the gas company come and repair it lol

Love my Rinnai and perform regular maintenance, so I keep spare parts.

This turbine broke in my Rinnai from grit jamming the impeller beyond what was able to break loose. As you can imagine with a family in the house, getting hot water back was a priority. They had the right part in stock and it even arrived earlier than expected.

Got it in Massachusetts next day with standard shipping. A slightly advanced project for the DIYer if the header is located close to the floor, but easy if the unit is at chest height. Note that the turbine goes into the heater, not the brass fitting you remove to access it. I had flow detection problems and opted to replace this rather the try to tune up the old one. Plus, your friends who don't know about these heaters will be impressed when you tell them you replaced a turbine over the weekend.
