The 5300 Series thermostat with auxiliary switch is a SPST, snap-acting control. Models are available with standard electrical ratings and pilot-duty ratings. Five types of auxiliary switch types have been produced. For a complete description, see “Auxiliary Switch Description” below. Note: An auxiliary switch control can also be used to replace a standard (non-auxiliary switch) control if specifications are similar. Just disregard the switch.
