Replacement for the old model 9610

used to replace malfunctioning 9610's at a public building. Looks very similar to the 9610 so people are somewhat familiar with it. Not so great, is the wiring. It is not really close to the model9610 and does not have a clear conversion. so you need to know more of the existing circuits than just the color codes

Q: Help--I moved into the house and it has a 9620 model theromstat. I have been unable to program it propertly. I want to have a simple unit where I can set a temperature to maintain in the winter and summer. I want it to operate automatically.I don't care about the times or the days. In reading the manual it indicates there are 2 levels of heating and cooling. If the unit can be set, does it go on high or low temperature, would low setting save energy money.
