This item allows you to transition from PVC to PEX. The PVC end of this product can not be used on PEX.
Note: Underground burial of SharkBite brass fittings requires that the fitting be wrapped using silicone wrap (25406A).
SharkBite PVC Fittings connect PVC pipe (Sch. 40, 80 and 120) to Copper, PEX, CPVC, and PE-RT pipe with no solder, clamps, unions or glue.

Q: Is it possible to use a sharkbite pvc x copper fitting on galvanized pipe since it is the same size as pvc?
