Blue 75 Sealant - Good to the last Drip
This thread sealant is made by a PVC manufacturer for professional PVC installers.
After unsuccessfully trying teflon tape and other sealants to eliminate a nagging drip at my threaded PVC connections, I consulted a friend who works on an industrial treatment plant who recommended Spears Blue 75 sealant. I figure someone who is constantly installing/repairing PVC piping where leaks are not acceptable and long term durability is a must would know what to use and he was right. No more leaks. Just be sure to wear gloves when working with the sealant. It stains hands pretty good.
I couldn't find the product anywhere locally so luckily found SupplyHouse on line. SH processed my order quickly and couldn't be happier with their service.

No leaks!
The product worked well for a PVC sprinkler valve system I constructed, Before using Blue 75, I tried Teflon tape and another sealant. Both of these failed to prevent leaks.

Sealant works well
I could not find a proper thread sealant locally, so I found it at Supply House. Used it twice on threaded pvc pipe and it has done the job.
