Description

8501C power relays are used to control small single phase motors and other light loads. These power relays are available with a variety of contact configurations. This relay has a DPST contact configuration with two normally open and no normally closed contact. A variety of coil voltages are available. This relay has a 120 VAC nonreplaceable coil. Designed with heavy duty contacts that are rated for single phase 1.5 HP motors at 120 VAC, 230 VAC or 600 VAC. It also has a 30 A resistive rating at 300 VAC or 5 A resistive rating at 600 VAC. These relays have a durable open frame construction. 8501C power relays are UL listed and CSA certified. This range of relays is used in electric heater, pumping, conveyor and material handling applications.

Good two pole relay for the price.
I'm using this relay to supply power to a feed water pump for a steam boiler. Works well so far. Just not sure how many cycles the contacts can handle. Time will tell.
