Impact Connect PEX Pinch Clamp Attachment

I bought this after my hand crimper broke in the middle of a large project. Honestly I thought it would be kind of wonky but it works very well. It does take crimping few bands to get the hang of using it. One thing that isn't clearly explained in the instruction manual is the action of the crimping mechanism. Starting with the jaws fully open, Triggering driver forward will close the jaws until the crimp is complete then it the jaws open slightly then stop opening. At this point the jaws are not open enough to get the tool off the band. Triggering the driver in reverse first closes the jaws again then they open fully. This all only takes a few seconds once you get used to it. I estimate I could make crimps 3 times faster than the hand crimper. My only criticism is the bracket that attaches to the driver should have two screw clamps to secure it instead of just one. So that's why I only gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, it works very well.
